Position Summary:

SignalDemand delivers on-demand margin optimization software that enables manufacturers to maximize profitability, even as costs and markets change around them. The company’s applications rely on the latest econometric models, optimization algorithms and activity-based costing techniques.

Working as part of a small talented project team, the implementation consultant plays the lead technical role in our customer projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis, design, development, and unit testing of the data integration, configuration and business intelligence related work required to successfully implement our hosted solution
• Use outstanding SQL, PL/SQL, Informatica, and BI skills to successfully deliver the data integration, configuration, and business intelligence components of our implementations
• Contribute to the advancement of the companies implementation methodology – specifically the data integration, configuration, and business intelligence components

Skills:

Professional

• Excellent team work skills to quickly establish strong working relationships with customer contacts as well as SignalDemand peers
• Detail oriented with strong project management skills
• 4+ years software implementation experience gained from working in the professional services team of an enterprise software company and/or a large systems integration company
• Experience with enterprise applications such as SAP R/3 and Oracle and familiarity with ERP architectures
• Energetic and results-oriented demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiastic and entrepreneurial spirit.

Technical

• Deep understanding and hands-on data modeling and data structuring , RDBMS and SQL experience
• 4+ years of experience with data architecture, with a focus on Data Warehousing, Data Integration, ETL, EAI, EII and Master Data Management technologies
• Knowledge of software engineering techniques and technologies, including full understanding of object-oriented design and modern enterprise design patterns.
• 3+ years experience with BI tools configuration, support and administration
• Integration experience with multiple platforms and data sources. Mainframes, mid-range machines, UNIX, LINUX, WIntel, etc. Hierarchical, network & relational DBMS, flat files, etc
• Ability to work equally well in software architect, designer, or implementer role
• Familiarity with ETL and business intelligence applications such as Informatica, QlikView, MicroStrategy.

Other

• Must have authorization to work in the United States
• Able to travel for on-site work at customer locations. Travel expectations are about 2-3 days every other week.
• BS/BA or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Applied Mathematics or Statistics.
