Mark Tice, CEO

With more than 25 years of executive experience at both venture-backed and large enterprise software companies, Mr. Tice has a proven record of leading organizations through periods of rapid growth. Prior to SignalDemand, Mr. Tice was the executive vice president of worldwide sales with responsibility for all revenue at MarkLogic Corporation, the company revolutionizing the way organizations leverage Big Data. Prior to MarkLogic, Mr. Tice was the president and CEO of Bridgestream, Inc., the market-leading role management company, where he led until the acquisition by Oracle Corporation in 2007. After the acquisition, Mr. Tice served as vice president of Oracle's Enterprise Performance Management-Business Intelligence consulting practice. Mr. Tice has more than ten years of experience at large, business intelligence companies, holding executive roles at organizations such as Business Objects and Sybase. He has also held senior positions at Mantas, Inc., Borland International and others. Mr. Tice holds a B.S. in Systems Science and Economics from UCLA.

Bruce Cleveland, Partner, InterWest Partners

Bruce Cleveland has been part of InterWest's IT team since 2006, focusing on investments in the software and services sector with an emphasis on mobile, Cloud Computing and analytical applications. Bruce is a board member of Aria Systems, Cloud9, Get Satisfaction and Signal Demand. In addition to his current investments, Bruce also serves on the C3 Board of Advisors — a start-up focused on Energy and Resource Management applications.

Prior to joining InterWest, Bruce held senior executive roles in engineering, product management and product marketing with companies such as Apple, AT&T, Oracle and Siebel Systems. He is credited by Forbes and IDC with creating the most effective alliance program in the software industry. Bruce attended the United States Military Academy, West Point, and received a B.S. in business administration from CSU, Sacramento.

Jon Goldstein, Venture Partner, Catamount Ventures

Jon is a Venture Partner at Catamount Ventures. Prior to Catamount, Jon was Vice President of Sales at Grassroots Enterprise, Inc. Prior to Grassroots, Jon spent five years with Remedy Corporation (NYSE: BMC) developing and implementing their sales and channel strategies in the US and Asia. Jon managed the creation and launch of Remedy's first dedicated US telesales organization; he created the engagement strategies for Asia/Pacific and then implemented those strategies through local partnerships and major direct sales; and was responsible for launching and managing Remedy's Japanese subsidiary. While living in Japan, Jon coordinated the introduction of Remedy's products into Japan which included recruiting and managing Remedy's strategic partners and customers, project managing the localized versions of Remedy's software, and hiring and training local staff. Prior to Remedy, Jon spent several years at Island Graphics in a variety of sales and sales management roles, and at Oracle Corporation in their telesales (DMD) and finance organizations. Jon serves as a member or observer on the Board of Directors of Dymanic Payment Ventures , Siterra Corporation, Verdiem, SignalDemand, and advises several portfolio companies including Liquid Engines. Jon holds a BA degree from Claremont McKenna College.

Mark Gorenberg, Managing Director, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners

Mr. Gorenberg joined Hummer Winblad Venture Partners in 1990. He has served as a board member for start-up and public software companies, including AdForce, HomeGrocer, NetDynamics and Scopus Technologies. Currently, he serves as a Director of Aria Systems, Cenzic, Crowd Factory, ontheFRONTIER, Replay Solutions and Signal Demand. Mark is also a member of the Board of Trustees for Massachusetts Institute of Technology Corporation and The H. John Heinz III Center for Science, Economics and The Environment. Prior to joining Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Mark managed a number of new media areas and was a member of the original SparcStation I team at Sun Microsystems. He received a BSEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MSEE from the University of Minnesota, and an MS in Engineering Management from Stanford University.

Steve Mankoff, Independent Director and Advisor

Steven Mankoff is an independent director and advisor in the technology industry and currently serves on the Boards of ConvergeOne, Insurity, Netsmart Technologies, Nomis Solutions SignalDemand, and Virtual Instruments. Steve also serves on the strategic advisory boards of C3 and Genstar Capital and is an advisor to Cloud9 Analytics, GramercyOne, Kepha Partners, Nuevora, and TD Fund. Previously, Steve worked as Senior Vice President Global and Technical Services at Siebel Systems, Inc. which was acquired by Oracle Corporation in 2006. Steve was a member of the Founder’s Circle of first employees and the Siebel executive management team. At Siebel, Steve was responsible for Professional and Technical Services, Technical Support, Education, Quality Engineering, and Offshore Development. The combined organization had over 2,100 employees, over 700 dedicated contractors and annual revenue approaching $1 billion. Prior to Siebel, he held various product, marketing, and sales management positions at several software companies including Oracle. He earned a Master of Science in Management from the MIT Sloan School and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Brown University.
